The Kiwanis Club of Galena is proud to award scholarships to two graduating Galena High School Seniors at the annual awards ceremony. This year’s recipents were Kenzie Brown (l) and Maxwell Schulz (r).

Kiwanis River Trail Run – A Fun Time Was Had By All!

Once again, the Kiwanis River Trail Run was a great event. Whether you ran or walked, whether you covered the course alone or in a group, everyone had fun! Thanks to your participation and the generousity of our sponsors, volunteeers, and the City of Galena, we will award grants to organizations that serve the youth of Galena later this month.

Governor’s Visit

We were honored to host our Kiwanis Governor’s visit at the DeSoto House in Galena on March 14th. It was a great event followed by members marching in the Saint Patrick’s Day parade. Thanks to all who helped make this a wonderful day.

The Kiwanis Club of Galena is accepting applications for their annual grant program. The 8th Annual River Trail Run is scheduled for April 18, 2026 and will aid in providing funds to local organizations that support youth programs and improve the quality of life in the Galena area.
